Context
Humans in Color is a data visualization project that translates the intricacies of human personality into color.
We invited 32 individuals to complete the Myers-Briggs Personality Test (via 16personalities.com) and assigned a distinct color to each side of the spectrum within the five personality aspects—Mind, Energy, Nature, Tactics, and Identity—that define a personality type. The resulting visualizations reveal the unexpected beauty and complexity within each individual’s identity.
Color System
1 Mind—Extroversion (Orange) / Introversion (Blue)
2 Energy—Intuition (Green) / Sensing (Purple)
3 Nature—Thinking (Indigo) / Feeling (Pink)
4 Tactics—Judging (Turquoise) / Prospecting (Yellow)
5 Identity—Turbulent (Peach) / Assertive (Magenta)
